Arevon, a U.S. energy leader, is developing a solar-plus-storage project in Freeborn County, Minnesota.
Local landowners have agreed to lease land sufficient to host 275 MWdc of solar and 200 MW of energy storage. The Horseshoe Energy Project offers landowners an income diversification strategy while preserving the land's ability to return to agricultural use at the conclusion of the project.
The success of the Horseshoe Energy Project relies on developing a project that can successfully balance economic, technical, regulatory and community goals. We look forward to working together to achieve balance and developing an energy facility that Freeborn County will be proud to host.
